A Cause Worth Dying For
There are many causes in this world that people are willing to die for. There are social causes, injustice, tyranny, discrimination and the list can go on and on. In the book of Revelation the Lord gives us a hint about something worth mentioning in His book. In Rev. 12:10 - 11 says, “And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuses them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.”
Overcoming the devil is something that not only got the Father’s attention, but also made it worth mentioning in His book the Bible. Someone may ask, “How do I overcome the devil? The simple answer is: by the blood of the Lamb and by our testimony.
There will be numerous times in life when the devil will try to discourage us, try to accuse us, try to play with our minds, and try to convince us that healing is not specifically for us. At that moment, rebuke him by and with the Blood of the Lamb. Resist the devil at his appearance with your testimony, a testimony of someone that will not waive at his scheme, but will remain true to the Lamb and His Word no matter what. That’s something that will send the devil fleeing, the powerful Blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. It may in some instance even cost our lives as it will to our Jewish brothers that will be saved in the tribulation and our brethren that are murdered on a daily basis in socialist and dictator regimes around the world. But you know what, if it comes to that point here and now with us, that’s something worth dying for.
