Getting Fear Out of Our Lives

Fear is one of the most crippling forces plaguing the church today. It robs us of our blessings and in some instances prevents us from being what the Lord intended us to be. Someone once said, “fear” is an acronym - False Evidence Appearing Real”.  And it is true. Fear is also an absence of faith.  It is a tactic used by our enemy to stifle our progress and cause us to give up our dreams, aspirations and sometimes even our faith.

Psalms 23:-4-5 tells us that “…even if we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we should fear no evil, because His rod and staff will not only guide, but also comfort us”. Have you ever imagined what life would be like when we fear no evil? I will always say that the best way to overcome fear is to face it. Why? It is because there is a provision in G-d’s Word to protect us and set us free from the bondage of fear in Psalm 23. Don’t allow fear such as fear of failure, or any other kind of fear for that matter, to prevent you from being all that you can be in the presence and kingdom of G-d. Remember you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Get rid of the fear, and let’s march forward towards the great things the Lord is sending our way.
