He is Risen!!! Yes, He is risen indeed!
What a wonderful description we have about Jesus’ resurrection in the Bible. The thrill of the resurrection has nothing to do with rabbits or chocolate eggs but with the simple fact that Satan’s power over man is destroyed once and for all. Just as through one man, death entered the world and reigned over the entire human race, now also through the resurrection from the “dead” one man, Jesus Christ, the table is turned. Read this report:
Matthew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. 8And they departed quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word. 9And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. 10Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
With His resurrection, he sealed Satan, death and Hell’s fate (Revelation 1:18). He guaranteed that you and I will have a new body (1 Corinthians 15:49) and that one day all the suffering caused by sin will certainly cease (1 Corinthians 15:50-58). As the women who departed from the tomb from the tomb with joy because of His resurrection, we too should be rejoicing with the fact that He is risen, because “He is risen indeed!!!!!!”
