As Jesus hung on the cross to die, He said “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34).
Think of it; after all that they did to Jesus; He said “...Forgive them...”!!! And we have to do the same regardless of what people do to us!!! And no matter how many times they hurt us.
In Matthew 18:21-21 Peter asked Jesus a question and received an unforgettable answer!!! “Then came Peter to Him, (Jesus) and said, LORD, how oft shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Till seven times? 22. Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but Until seventy times seven.” That’s 490 times!!!
We must forgive likewise or the same or we will not be forgiven. In Mark 11:26 Jesus warns us!!! He said “If ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in Heaven forgive your trespasses.” So let us forgive everyone of everything so the Father will forgive us!!!
