How important is the Word of God!?!
Well, in Psalm 120:7 we find that God sent It to keep us well. Psalm 107.20 says “He (God) sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
Yes, He sent His Word to heal us and to deliver us from our destructions. And, note, the letter “s” on the Word destructions! Not only was the Word sent to heal us of any sickness or problems but also deliver us of any number of things that could destroy us whether it may be of a spiritual or physical nature!!! So in God’s Word, we are given total care and protection.
God’s Word is so important, that Jesus said in Matthew 4:4 “...It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God!!! Therefore the Word of God is our literal life!!! (see Proverbs 4:20-22)
