Today is “PASSOVER” that took place in 1491 BC as the children of Israel were brought out of Egypt by the hand of the Lord.
The Lord has taught us many lessons to remember that were written from Exodus 7 through Exodus 12. In these Scriptures we see examples of the perfect Lamb of God, Jesus that was to come later and the importance of His BLOOD!!!
Pharaoh would not let the children of Israel “Go” so God sent the final plague upon Egypt to kill the firstborn of every household including their animals.
But the ones who put the “BLOOD” of a perfect lamb on the two side posts and on the upper door posts would be saved. (Ex: 12:1-13)
And today as we accept Jesus, the Perfect LAMB of God, and our redemption through and by His BLOOD, the death angel will see the BLOOD of Jesus; pass over us and we will go to Heaven to live forever!!!
