Thanksgiving Day of 2007 has passed but we should remember that “thanking God” is forever as we are told to be “giving thanks always for all things unto God the Father in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” So let us thank God 365 days a year as long as we live.
Also, let us thank God in advance or with every request or prayer. We don’t wait until we receive our request to thank the Lord.
In Philippians 4:6 we are commanded to “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
In Psalm 100:4 we are commanded to “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His Name.” Even as we are just entering into His gates; even before receiving any blessing we are to give THANKSGIVNG!!! So pray with thanksgiving and live in VICTORY!!!
