Did God put us on earth helpless against sickness, disease or Satan? No, God is love (1 John 4:8) and would not and has not done such a thing!!!
He tells us in Psalm 107:20 that “He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” As God is no respector of persons, what He did for anyone in the Bible days, He will do for us today. What ever is promised or done for anyone in the Bible is for anyone today.
In Proverbs 4:20 – 22 we read “My son, attend to My Words; incline thine ear unto My sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; Keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” (medicine to all their flesh in Hebrew)
For protection He promises us that “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling” (Psalm 91:10). So let us believe and trust the Lord to live in health and freedom for the rest of our lives!!!
