Most of us have been warned to watch our mouth since we were a child. We were told not to say bad words or hurting words to anyone or in the presence of anyone, or even to ourselves!!!
The Bible tells us how powerful our tongue (and words from it) can be to ourselves or to anyone. (Proverbs 18:21)
Yes, we are warned about what comes out of us through our mouth and by our tongue but what about words or thoughts that come into us? Should we not watch them also? Yes, by all means!!!
Why? Because the Bible says so. In Mark 4:24 Jesus said “...TAKE HEED WHAT YE HEAR:..”
Therefore, let us not only watch our mouth and tongue but also watch what we HEAR through our EARS and MIND to live a successful Christian life!!!
