In Luke 10:19 Jesus told the Believers, and therefore all Believers today, that “...I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Yes, Jesus has given us Believers today the same power that He gave the Believers when He was on the earth in the flesh. And He expects us to use this power as He has commanded.
In John 14:12 Jesus commanded “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me, the works that I do, shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father.”
From the above we Believers are told that we SHALL DO THE SAME WORKS AS JESUS. And Jesus never tolerated sin, sickness or disease or anything of the devil. He gave the devil no place!!! And we are to do the same as commanded in Ephesians 4:27 that states “Neither give place to the devil.”
Let us be obedient to the Lord and live in VICTORY!!!
