In Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus said that the great commandment was to "...love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself."
We know and are told how to love God but just how do we love our neighbor? What is the best way? 1 John 3:18 tells us. It says "...Let us not LOVE in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth." In other words, let us love in action according to the Bible which is the truth that will set people free from sin, bondage, sickness, disease and help them to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Love in Word and Action or in Deed, that can guide them and lead them to Jesus and salvation is the wisest thing that we can do. (Proverbs 11:30 says, "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise."
