Let us keep our eyes on the Lord all of our life and do as He would do regardless of what happens to us. As we put the Lord first in every situation, He will help us to forgive and make the right decision. Joseph was a great example.
In Genesis 37:27, his brothers said, "Come and let us sell him to the Ishmaelites ...." His own brothers sold him into slavery after deciding not to kill him!!!
Then in Genesis 37:36, "...The Midianites sold him into Egypt unto Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh's and captain of the guard."
Potiphar's wife tempted him, and when Joseph refused to sin, she lied on him and "...Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison... "(Genesis 39:20)
No matter what happened to Joseph he remained faithful to the Lord and forgave his brothers. He cried in Genesis 45:1 and in Genesis 45:15, "...He kissed all his brothers and wept upon them..."
Regardless of what we go through, let us FORGIVE, LOVE and let us LIVE IN VICTORY!!!
