The Bible is an instruction book for all of man from the time he is born until he passes away. There are many instructions for us to live in victory but what should come first in our lives?
The answer is found in Matthew 22:36-40 when Jesus was asked basically the same question.
A lawyer asked Jesus, “Master, which is the great commandment in the Law?”
Matthew 22:37-40 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Yes, if we LOVE God FIRST and foremost and our neighbor as our self next, or second, we can live in VICTORY our entire lives.
