Jesus entry into Jerusalem was a time of great rejoicing and celebration!!! The people welcomed Him with all of their heart.
In Mark 11:8 – 10 we read, “...many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strewed them in the way. 9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: 10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.” OH, the people were so excited and happy over Jesus’ entering Jerusalem!!!
But then at the trial of Jesus, “...The chief priests moved the people” (Mk 15:11) and was able to change their hearts to such an extent that, “...they cried out the more exceedingly, crucify Him.” (Mk15:14)
How horrible that the people’s hearts could be changed so quickly against Jesus!!! Let us never make that same mistake regardless of what we hear, see, read or think, and keep the VICTORY given to us by Almighty God according to 1 Cor. 15:57.
