Often Missed Secrets of the Bible
What must I do to be able to see G-d? That was a question that followed me from the very beginning of my walk with my Lord, Jesus Christ. As a new born again believer, I was still timid, and did not want to ask anyone in the church I attended, which may be the feeling of many people in our congregation.
So I started a journey through the Bible, seeking the answer, and lo and behold there it was. Matthew 5:8 says, "Blessed are the clean (pure) of heart, for they shall see G-d." Wow!!! It is possible for someone and every one to see G-d!!! The only simple condition imposed is: have a clean heart. The Greek word katharo:s; fem: kithara?, neutral: katharo:n, (adjective) means: clean, pure, clear in a natural sense.
Clean or pure in a spiritual sense from the pollution and guilt of sin as well as to be sincere, upright, and void of evil. If seeing your Heavenly Father is your ultimate goal as it is mine, then we must begin to work on our heart condition.
Let us make an effort to have a clean and pure heart. Let us pray like David prayed, "Create in me a clean heart Oh G-d and renew a right spirit within me." After all, seeing the Father face to face is our ultimate goal.
G-d Bless You,
Pastor Paul Santos
