Hope in Hopeless Times

We read very clearly in the Scriptures the following promise:

Heb 6:18: "…that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us.

In a chaotic world as today's world, where everything seems to be falling apart, it is almost impossible not to lose hope, that is if we don't know the Word of G-d. When we become a child of G-d we are never without hope.

No matter how bad things look in the natural world, we have hope and a strong consolation in every situation because it is impossible for G-d to lie. You may not feel very blessed right now, but that does not change the Word of G-d.  We find refuge in Him.  It is right there set before you.  We are not without hope, not without Jesus.  So if the stock market has tumbled down and you lost hundreds of thousands of dollars or a loved one is going through a rough time in life or whatever the circumstances may be, remember:  "there is an immutable promise" in G-d's Word, that says He cannot lie.  So be encouraged and have a strong consolation, flee to Him for refuge, and ask Him wisdom to see things the way He sees them.  After all, you are not without hope, hold on upon the hope set "before us."

Be Hopeful!
