Thanking the Lord in Advance for the Miracle
As I browse the Scriptures, I can't help myself, but to praise the Lord for so many instances when the example was given to us about a thankful heart for a miracle that does not exist yet, but is about to happen.
In John 6:11 we read, "And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down, and likewise of the fish as much as they wanted." What a great example for everyone of us today! Five thousand men were fed with five little loaves of bread and two little fish on the spot, according to Luke 9:13-14. The beauty of this miracle is not only the fact that so many people were fed with so little, but the fact that a thankful prayer was made before the miracle had even happened!
A prayer thanking the Lord of that miracle that you are expecting may very well bring heaven down and satisfy your hungry soul with that healing bread you may be needing right now. G-d was willing to answer His son Jesus, and that same willingness remains today to answer his other child…"YOU"!!!
Let's spice up this coming week with lots of thankful prayer and see the miracles of transformation take place. Maybe all "you need" is the two little fish and five little loaves. Maybe what He wants is a "thank you for my miracle prayer" in order for the miracle to happen.
